Funding for projects that work to improve the quality of the disadvantaged people's lives

Funding Grants of £500 are offered to voluntary, community and charitable organisations to support summer activities and play schemes. The foundation makes around 120 grants each year, and aims to spread this equally across projects in the UK.

Aim To improve the quality of the most disadvantaged people's lives. Its Summer Activities Small Grants Programme funds activities for children and young people aged five to 17 years old.

Who can apply? Small local schemes run by registered charities across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Projects should demonstrate strong support from volunteers and preference will be given to schemes with clear safeguarding measures in place.
