Funding

Hilton in the Community Foundation

Funding for projects supporting young people, with a special focus on promoting the health and education of disadvantaged young people

Funding There is no minimum or maximum limit. The foundation's director can approve grants up to £5,000 and the committee approves grants up to £10,000. Any grant exceeding that amount must be authorised by the charity's trustees. Grants of more than £50,000 are not normally made and there is no application deadline.

Funder The Hilton in the Community Foundation is the charitable grant-making organisation affiliated to the Hilton International chain of hotels. The foundation aims to support young people, with a special focus on promoting the health and education of disadvantaged young people.

Aim Charities or projects that benefit the most disadvantaged children and young people will be prioritised. Educational projects will receive funding for training, sports equipment, activity-based learning and transport. Health initiatives will get funding for hospices, medical equipment, care facilities, activity-based holidays and awareness campaigns. Both types of projects will occasionally receive cash to pay for the costs of project staff.
