Youth service resources will be targeted towards projects that need most support, providing better engagement with communities and multi-agency action teams.
One project will take the form of an externally funded mobile youth club, which will target young people in some of the borough's more remote areas.
The changes, developed in consultation with local young people, will be implemented with partners such as Connexions and the local Learning & Skills Council. Telford & Wrekin's youth service also plans to contribute to the development of children-focused services, which will see local services working together to provide early intervention and support for vulnerable young people.
