The north London council is using a 4.1m Neighbourhood Renewal Fund grant to revamp its Bruce Grove youth centre and construct a new one.
Rob Graham, deputy director of education at Haringey Council, said: "The money will allow us to buy a large mobile unit."
The facilities are part of a wider restructuring of the service in which the council has pulled the service out of the play and early years section, added Graham.
The council has also forged stronger ties with Connexions North London.
Further changes will be finalised when the council appoints a new head of the youth service. Former incumbent Junior Shabazz is no longer principal youth officer but remains an employee. He is "considering his options".
