Project: Progress without Preconceptions DVD, Barnet Action 4 Youth Mission: To improve relationships between young people and the police Funding: 2,000, raised by the young people involved in the project

The police are often accused of being hostile to young people, but the feeling can be mutual. Research by a group at Barnet Action 4 Youth last year found 61 per cent of police agreed they are negative about young people, and 86 per cent of young people admit to being negative about the police.

A subsection of the CRAC (communication, results, activities committee) group decided to do something about this, and set about producing a DVD to educate both parties.
