Force-7, a marketing and consultancy company set up two years ago as part of the Young Enterprise Company Programme, will work to ensure schoolchildren are involved in the building programme, and that their views on extended services taken into account.
Recently named "company of the year" at the Young Enterprise UK Innovation Awards, Force-7 has already held a consultation scheme involving almost 500 young people.
Jess Bannister, the company's social and marketing manager, said: "Although there has been some good early involvement of children and young people in the project, often adults can be seen as authoritative and young people may not always engage or give their real views. It is vital for BSF to gain the opinions of young people because the whole programme is about education and how it is going to affect Hull's pupils in the future."
