Young NCB: NCB to consult on Youth Matters

In Autumn 2005, NCB will be running consultations with 200 young people to get their views on the youth green paper.

The idea behind Youth Matters is that central government will give yourlocal governments a pot of money. Then they must ask young people aged13 to 19 what leisure facilities they want to spend this money on.

NCB will be holding workshops to discuss this with young people whosevoices can't normally be heard, such as asylum seekers, young carers, young disabled people and children in care. Working in groups of 10,they will take part in fun activities like filming, art andbrainstorming.
