Campaign aims

Leicester is a vibrant city - the biggest in the East Midlands with apopulation of 280,000 people. But Leicester City Council faces severalchallenges in making sure that when graduate social workers search for aplace to start or continue their careers, the country's tenth largestcity is one of the places they consider.

So the aim of the campaign was not to recruit against specific vacanciesbut to build an awareness of the city as a great place to live, achallenging but rewarding place to be a social worker, and of thecouncil's social care and health department as a supportive and excitingplace to work.
