Work Wise: Funding watch - St James' Place Foundation

What is it? The St James's Place Foundation is the charitable arm of the St James's Place Wealth Management Group. The foundation aims to improve the quality of life for those people in need as a result of disability or disadvantage.

How much is on offer? A maximum of £10,000 is available to organisations with an annual income of less than £600,000 (this restriction does not apply to special needs schools). A major grants programme offers a maximum of £25,000 per annum for a maximum of two years and is only available to organisations with an annual income of less than £2m.

What will it fund? The foundation will support projects that provide directly for under-25s in the UK who suffer from physical or mental health difficulties or conditions, or a life-threatening or degenerative illness. This includes young people under 25 caring for others.
