- Where do NSPCC staff work?

The NSPCC has regional offices across the country including Cardiff, Gloucester, Belfast, Leeds, Glasgow, Leicester and London. Its ChildLine service is located in 11 call centres around the UK, from Exeter to Aberdeen. The majority of its 2,500 staff are office based, but some work from home.

- What roles are available?

The NSPCC has 177 projects spread across the UK and the Channel Islands. Frontline children's services staff are qualified social workers and child protection and prevention employees. Candidates can search for jobs on the NSPCC website and register for vacancy alerts.

- Is training available?

The organisation offers extensive opportunities through its national training centre, which is home to NSPCC child protection training services, consultancy services, child protection learning resources and the child protection in sport unit. NVQ awards are available to enhance development opportunities for those who do not hold a professional social work qualification.
