Wales: Commissioner says CAMHS needs funds

In his annual report, to be presented to the assembly today (Wednesday), commissioner Peter Clarke calls the 700,000 allocated to CAMHS in the past year "totally inadequate".

The report says Welsh children are "poor relations to their peers in England, where almost 300m is being invested over a three-year period".

The assembly published a 10-year CAMHS strategy in 2001, called Everybody's Business.
