Volunteering: CSV calls on young to help their elders

Youth Work
Volunteering charity CSV is encouraging young people and older residents to work more closely together.

The charity has released a guide entitled How to Bridge the Generation Gap, which aims to cut through misunderstandings and stereotypes that can divide the generations.

The initiative aims to get young people to work with older members of their community on projects such as showing them how to use mobile phones or PCs, to help tackle the isolation some older residents experience.

For a copy of the guide, call 0800 284 533 or visit www.csv.org.uk/difference
