Youth volunteering charity v will launch a "youth fund" in December to provide grants for youth-led social enterprise projects.
The fund will provide young people with start-up grants of up to 5,000. It is one of six areas in the charity's work programme and is being designed by v20, the charity's youth advisory board.
Philip Udeh, v20 member and v trustee, said: "The youth fund will offer young people the chance to become social entrepreneurs. We plan to use more innovative methods to open access to opportunities."
