Volunteering: Cash up for grabs at Whitbread awards

The award scheme is run in partnership with the Home Office and a range of volunteering-related groups. It recognises the achievements of 16- to 25-year-olds who can be nominated in categories for community, arts, the environment and sport.

Winners also get 250 in leisure vouchers and 12 months of follow-up support.

The deadline for nominations is 11 June. A short list will be announced in August and the ceremony will take place on 28 September.
