The Whitbread Young Achievers scheme recognises exceptional achievement in three categories: community, environment and sport. It is run in association with the Home Office and the National Centre for Volunteering, and is a revamp of the former Whitbread Volunteer Action Awards.
Winners in each category will get 2,500 for 'personal and project development', 250 in leisure vouchers and 12 months' follow-up support.
Runners-up will also receive money and vouchers.
Nominations should be made by 7 March, and shortlists will be announced in April. The awards will be made on 11 June.
