Youth crime officer PC Robin Powney, based within Birmingham's youth offending team, has set up a series of golfing days at Alison Nicholas Golf Academy in Great Barr, Birmingham.
Run in conjunction with the force's victim support division, the scheme will see victims of crime aged 14 to 17 getting golf tuition with club professionals, a training session and a round of golf on the club course.
The scheme has been given the full go-ahead following a successful pilot project.
Powney said: "We wanted to help the kids get over their ordeals, and the golf days seemed like a great opportunity to regain their confidence, mix with other children and have fun."
