Goals: To steer children and young people away from antisocial behaviour and to promote golf

Funding: The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews has given a grant of 1,000 and 10 sets of junior golf clubs. Other funders include Tayside Police, the Golf Foundation itself and an anonymous benefactor, who chipped in with 500

More than 500 children and young people have been introduced to golf in their school environment through the Tri-Golf Initiative. This is a shorter version of the traditional game, with weighted plastic clubs and foam golf balls. It provides a choice of structured games that can be played safely by large groups of participants.
