The project, designed to engage non-academic young people who may be at risk from school exclusion, currently runs in Edinburgh, East Lothian, West Lothian and Midlothian, but will be extended to the Borders by the end of the year. Activities include cleaning grafitti, drug awareness, first aid and firefighter drills. More than 200 young people aged 12 to 16 have taken part.
