This year Giving Nation will be running the second G-Week from 26 June to 3 July. G-Week exists to celebrate and recognise young people's community and charity involvement within the Active Citizenship framework supported by promotion in young people's media such as teenage magazines.
Giving Nation aims to:
- Improve visibility for giving in young people's culture and increase young people's awareness that they are in a culture that is positive about giving to others
- Use the Citizenship and PSE curriculum to guide and educate young people about charity work, explain the aims of such work, and enable them to make informed choices about which charities to support
