The National Youth Agency: The Youth of Today live webcast

1 min read
The Youth of Today is staging a live webcast on Thursday (18 March).

This is the first webcast of its kind, with live and pre-recorded footage of youth leadership across England. Sports personalities such as footballer Gareth Barry are getting involved too.

The webcast offers an exciting opportunity for young people to change the image of the youth of today, whether it be through sport, music, art, writing, drama or skateboarding. It will showcase the diversity and quality of youth leadership across the sector and The Youth of Today is encouraging as many organisations as possible to get involved and send content - a video, photography, blog or a few words.

"This is a chance for young people to have their five minutes of fame — or longer," said a spokeswoman for The Youth of Today, a partnership led by the National Youth Agency.
