The National Youth Agency: Youth of Today launches YouTube competition to inspire and motivate

1 min read
The Youth of Today, the consortium offering skills, opportunities and networking for young people aged 13 to 19 to become leaders of change, has launched a YouTube competition.

It is looking for young people to appear on its YouTube channel to help to showcase youth leadership, and win some Youth of Today goodies. Entrants need to make a short video of between two and five minutes in one of three categories - talent and culture; sport and exercise; and community and environment - showing young people involved in a range of activities from dancing to playing sport to helping out at the local youth centre.

A spokesperson said: "Our ideas are there to inspire you but you can make a video on anything that fits in with the three categories. Your video must show young people doing positive activities and it will be used to inspire other young people to get involved."
