One August highlight was The Youth of Today Fellowship Residential - a four-day programme to launch 12 months of activity.
Two hundred and fifty young people from around England flocked to Wellington College, Berkshire, to attend the first ever The Youth of Today Fellowship Residential, highlighting the critical role youth leadership is playing to project a more positive image of young people, working to improve their own lives and the life of their community.
The young people, aged 13 to 19 from 10 locations across England, were all selected to participate in the year-long fellowship programme and are now putting their residential experiences into practice, demonstrating leadership skills in their communities. Each young person has already shown leadership spark in the following areas: community, education, work, family, arts and sports, civic and civil society.
