Following the successful Fellowship Residential at the end of summer, The Youth of Today Fellows are currently setting up leadership projects in their local communities heading for the goal of 1,000 actions by next August.
- Reaching Out
Half a million pounds is being made available through the Reaching Out strand of The Youth of Today Leadership Fund. The grants are open to third sector organisations aiming to build their capacity and offer more leadership opportunities to young people, creating more sustainable youth leadership provision in England. Approximately eight grants of between £50,000-£100,000 will be awarded for programmes that will have to be completed by March 2011. We are now inviting eligible organisations to submit their ideas through the Expression of Interest form available on our website. www.theyouthoftoday.org/fund-great-projects.
