The National Youth Agency: Research and policy journals

The summer issues of Forum 21, the European journals on child and youth policy and research are now available from The National Youth Agency.

Writing in the foreword for the research journal, Fiona Blacke, chief executive of The National Youth Agency, says: "The specific theme of young people's participation in democratic processes is a key element of social and political discussions not only in Europe but around the world. Contributions from Belgium, France, Canada, the Netherlands and the post-communist transitions in Belarus and Bulgaria highlight aspects of participation as a subject of sociological research as well as political and administrative action."

The issue also contains articles from an international conference on Holocaust research. Four researchers of a worldwide renowned report on aspects of commemoration and memory research as well as the teaching and reception of Holocaust history.
