Also, the first issue of a sister journal - the European Journal on Child and Youth Research - has been launched.
Published jointly by The National Youth Agency and European partners INJEP and IJAB from France and Germany, Forum 21 journals aim to support closer European and international co-operation in the field of child and youth policy as well as dialogue between policymakers, researchers and practitioners.
Writing in a joint foreword to the new research journal, Fiona Blacke, chief executive of The NYA, said: "Better political knowledge of children and youth is one of the European Union's political priorities. Forum 21 has set itself the task to provide information support to decision-makers in politics and practice."
