Previously the web site, hosted by the Council of Europe (www.coe.int/youth/forum21) had English, French and German versions of the journal, a European information and communication project aiming at closer European cooperation in the areas of youth policy and youth services by presenting national youth policy initiatives and legislative developments.
Stefan Becsky of the German organisation IJAB and editorial coordinator for the journal said: "This extension originated in a joint initiative of the Council of Europe and the European Commission. It thus completes another step on the way towards integrating the Russian Federation in youth policy cooperation in Europe, disseminating information on youth policy in the Russian Federation throughout and outside of Europe, and towards providing information on European youth policy structures and relevant youth-related legislation to Russian experts in youth policy and youth services."
