The National Youth Agency: Neighbourhood Support Fund -Streetreach

Each week we feature one of the projects run in partnership with an NYA-managed funding stream - Young People's Development Programme, Young Roots, Partners in Innovation or the Neighbourhood Support Fund.

Neighbourhood Support Fund - Streetreach

Location: Doncaster

Project: Streetreach is a well-established and nationally recognised support service for women and girls involved in or at risk from prostitution.

NSF funding is used to provide packages of care on an individual basis including counselling, medical care and the development of portfolios to gain accredited outcomes. Under-16s also have access to a distance learning school-based package. The young women's voices are heard through the forums and consultations such as a recent trip to the Houses of Parliament.
