More than 300 young people from 27 European Union member states attended the reception to mark the end of the German term of EU presidency. The theme, explored through art and dance projects, was "Europe on the Move", and Chancellor Merkel urged the young people to "explore Europe with enthusiasm and openness". During the visit, The NYA also held discussions with its European partners on developing Forum 21, the European Journal on Youth Policy, which is now distributed to some 185 countries worldwide.
