Key role for Hear by Right sees Hackney establish Youth Charter.

Young people in Hackney have more influence on decision-making following the launch of the Hackney Youth Charter.

Hackney Youth Participation Group undertook an audit and training based on The National Youth Agency's Hear by Right standards, mapping and planning children and young people's participation in the borough. The Charter was based upon the findings of this audit.

The Charter sets out standards so that all service providers can test whether young people are properly involved in shaping the services they use.
