Neighbourhood Support Fund - Eaststreet; Location: Barking and Dagenham

THE PROJECT

The core focus of the project is to use multimedia as a tool to engage young people and help them explore issues affecting their lives and those of their peers. Young people produce a magazine, Streettalk, which has received excellent feedback from other young people and professionals in the borough alike. This is supplemented by courses such as digital photography, to produce posters and web site design for the Eaststreet web site. They are also supported with personal development sessions on a one-to-one and group basis.
