APT

Location: Nottingham

The project: Part of the City Arts organisation in Nottingham, APT is a city-wide project using the arts to promote the personal and social development and inclusion of young people. Young people have access to a wide range of arts-based activities including dance, photography, MCing and T-shirt design. As part of a South Asian arts festival, the young people have recently performed a bharatanatyam dance sequence, explored their self-image through the medium of Indian deities and created rangoli rice designs.
