A core group of young people from all over England have been working with National Youth Agency staff to ensure that they can provide constructive, considered and informed contributions at the two-day Youth Summit in London on 25 and 26 June.
A key session at the end of day one will see a range of councils make presentations to a 'Dragons' Den' panel of young people, presenting their achievements, priorities and future plans in an attempt to persuade them to 'come and live in our council'.
The two-day event will bring together government ministers, senior officials, leading policymakers, service providers and young people. Parmjit Dhanda MP and Bridget Prentice MP will be making keynote addresses about the youth offer, along with sessions exploring how to achieve Every Child Matters outcomes.
