When The NYA and Local Government Association first published Hear by Right in 2001, Cheshire was one of the six pilot areas, and has been an enthusiastic participant ever since.
Recently, Cheshire has been held as a beacon to others, especially in the Northwest, hosting a successful Hear by Right regional workshop earlier this year. This workshop drew in voluntary and statutory organisations from across the region and led on to further engagement with organisations less frequently involved in the process, such as primary care trusts.
Two recent documents from the Children and Young People's Strategic Partnership have capably demonstrated Cheshire's particular strengths.
