The National Youth Agency: Hear by Right events go on the road

1 min read

Hear by Right is the tried and tested framework for the active involvement of children and young people originally launched by The NYA and the Local Government Association in 2001, and updated in 2005. It has been widely used for its excellent strategic participation plan that secures the safe, sound and effective participation of children and young people. It is also designed to encourage a significant improvement in organisational culture and services, leading to better outcomes for young people.

There is now a wealth of experience in using Hear by Right to develop and implement effective participation strategies, and many organisations are now sharing learning and seeking advice from colleagues to maximise the framework's potential.
