The National Youth Agency: C4EO runs National Safeguarding and Child Protection Conferences

1 min read
The Centre for Excellence and Outcomes in Children and Young People's Services (C4EO) is holding four national conferences for directors of children's services and other members of children's trusts.

The events aim to provide timely, up to date information for quality assurance in child protection and safeguarding.

The events are South East & Eastern (14 July); London (15 July); South West, East Midlands and West Midlands (21 July); and Yorkshire & the Humber, North East, and North West (23 July).

The conferences have been requested specifically by directors of children's services and support the aim of the National Safeguarding Delivery Unit to create a shared evidence base of effective practice.

Each conference will focus on supporting the difficult decisions of frontline staff; effective interventions in addressing risk of neglect or significant harm; and maintaining oversight and review of cases in light of changing circumstances.
