Across eight themes - early years; disability; vulnerable children; child poverty; safeguarding; schools and communities; youth; and parents, carers and families - C4EO will identify and co-ordinate local, regional and national evidence of what works to create a single and comprehensive picture of effective practice.
C4EO is now recruiting sector specialists for its youth theme, led by The National Youth Agency, which will run from September this year to March 2011. It is looking for professionals in the sector who have expertise and a track record of achievement in the youth theme. Priorities in this theme are:
- Increasing the engagement of young people in positive activities so as to achieve the Every Child Matters outcomes (and contribute to the achievement of Youth PSA 14)
