National Youth Agency: Centre is seeking offers of support to improve outcomes for young people

1 min read
The Centre for Excellence and Outcomes (C4EO) has recently launched its youth theme, led by the National Youth Agency.

It is now recruiting sector specialists with a track record of achieving effective local practice and recognised expertise in working in children's and young people's services to help its work across the sector to improve outcomes for children, young people and their families.

The theme, which is chaired by Hertfordshire County Council's director of children's dervices, John Harris, focuses on three priorities. These are increasing the engagement of young people in positive activities so as to achieve the Every Child Matters outcomes and contribute to the achievement of Youth PSA 14; improving outcomes for young people by spreading and deepening the impact of targeted youth support and development; and reducing alcohol consumption by young people and so improve their health, safety and wellbeing.
