This year the report emphasises the visible achievements of young people participating in the Youth Opportunity Fund and the Youth Capital Fund, celebrates the many other successful initiatives The Agency has been involved in, and stresses the growing importance of working successfully in partnership with other organisations.
In his introduction, NYA chair Bishop Roger Sainsbury cites values, powerful ideas and commitment to the young as three crucial underpinning factors in The NYA's work. He writes: "One of our primary values is promoting young people's participation, influence and place in society. Internally, we have taken young people's participation very seriously in the way we operate, as I saw at first hand in our Practise What We Preach event in February."
