The Christian Lewis Trust

What is it? Grants for young people under 18 with cancer and their families.

How much is on offer? The trust makes one-off grants ranging from £50 to £200 to improve the quality of life of a child with cancer.

What will it fund? Grants are given towards needs such as toys, books, videos, beds, radios, holidays, headstones and funeral expenses. The trust does not give any grants towards purchasing, repairing, or maintaining cars, buildings or computers.

Who can apply? Applications must be made in writing to Barbara Thomas, 62 Walter Road, Swansea, West Glamorgan, SA1 4PT. Applications can be submitted either directly by the individual or family. They can also be submitted through a social worker, Citizens Advice, or another third party such as nurse or health visitor. The trust promises to respond to every request within one calendar month.
