The ACT Foundation

1 min read
What it is: The ACT Foundation is a charity that provides funding for individuals and charities in the UK.

Its main objective is to enhance the quality of life for people in need. It does this by providing grants to fund services, amenities, equipment and adaptations to residential accommodation, as well as other forms of financial assistance.

How much is on offer: There is no specified lower or upper limit for grants, nor is there a deadline for applications. The smallest grant that ACT has made was £100, and the largest was £4m. The charity aims to make decisions on grants of up to £50,000 within one month of receiving the application. Decisions on grants of over £50,000 take up to three months.
