What is it?
The fund was set up by Surrey County Council and is administered by Surrey Youth Focus, a membership organisation for youth groups and organisations within the county. Under the scheme, grant funding is available for small charity and voluntary organisations in Surrey for direct work with young people.
Cash is available proportionally to each borough and district in the county depending on the number of 10- to 18-year-olds who live there.
How much is available?
Small voluntary youth organisations are able to apply for grants of between £500 and £5,000 a project, a year. Applicants asking for more than £1,000 should be able to explain the reasons why their application is strong.
