
With 2012 coming up fast, more and more kids are using the opportunities made available to them through the Olympic build-up. If I were in charge, I'd make it an absolute priority to get more young people involved in school sports.
Whether it be athletics, football, netball, hockey or something different like parkour or ballroom dancing, it can be a massive benefit to young people.
The main message that needs to be put across is that you don't need to be the next Usain Bolt or Frank Lampard to enjoy sport. All it takes is a little confidence and a will to succeed, as former Olympic champion Jonathan Edwards recently shared with us at a special event organised by Go South Go at the Whitgift School in south London.
