Social Care News: Wales - NDNA manager vows to be heard

The National Day Nurseries Association's first national development manager for Wales will ensure day nurseries' concerns are voiced at the highest level.

Sandra Welsby aims to develop links with children's partnerships and other key agencies including the Welsh Assembly government. "Part of that will be to ensure day nurseries are included in the development of integrated services," she said.

Other priorities include undertaking a survey to find out the extent that the Welsh language is used in nurseries and make recommendations for future development.
