Telford & Wrekin council, which is also one of the pilot sites for information sharing and assessment databases, has arranged for senior government officials to speak at the event on 16 June.
Tom Jeffery, director general of the children, young people and families directorate of the Department for Education and Skills, and Hilary Samson-Barry, head of children, maternity and women's health at the Department of Health, are keynote speakers. The event will also feature workshops on topics such as improving outcomes for looked-after children.
