Social Care News: Scotland - Social work review to involve children

Children will be asked for their input in the next stage of a wide-ranging review of social work in Scotland.

The 21st Century Social Work Review Group will gather evidence to put to ministers beginning in July.

Interim findings of the review set out roles and responsibilities of social workers in Scotland, including duties under the Children (Scotland) Act 1995. Project manager Craig Gilbert said the group was now set to "gather evidence on the way forward."
