Social Care News: Care homes - Venture firm buys private SEN group

A venture capitalist backed by a Middle Eastern government has bought a major private provider of schools and homes for children with special educational needs.

Three Delta has paid another venture capitalist, Sovereign Capital,150m for the Senad Group.

The investor also bought Four Seasons Health Care for 1.4bn inAugust. A Three Delta spokesman said it had chosen Senad because of itsstrong management and assets: "Plans for Senad are just bedding down. Weare working with management to further maximise cashflow."
