In line with government targets, and above the national average, Kent County Council has seen a fall in the number of looked-after children with multiple placements over the past four years.
The most recent figures show Kent is among the local authorities with the lowest percentage of looked-after children who have experienced three or more placement moves in a year.
Leyland Ridings, the authority's lead member for children, families and education, says Kent has adopted a policy on promoting permanency for all vulnerable children and young people.
