Sexual Health: Fpa set to launch accredited course

The Sexability course, due to be launched next year, will last about seven weeks and will be piloted in two London further education colleges before a national roll-out to colleges and youth organisations.

Topics on the course include relationships, sexuality, emotions and pregnancy choices. A spokeswoman for fpa said: "The course programme focuses on building young people's self-esteem and confidence to make decisions. They keep a portfolio of work and they have the option to become accredited, which gives them points towards further education." The course is based on an existing fpa Speakeasy course for parents.
