The Sleepin' Safe, Sexin' Safe project will be delivered in partnership with Centrepoint and was developed by young homeless people housed by the charity.
The scheme will teach homeless 16- to 25-year-olds in London and the North East about topics including sexually transmitted infections.
Other areas covered in the programme include rights and empowerment, substance misuse and sex, self-esteem, assertiveness, sexual health services and contraception.
Refugees and asylum seekers, single parents, care leavers, ex-offenders and other vulnerable young people will be targeted by the project, which will give participants the chance to gain an accredited qualification.
Marie-Claire Price, Sleepin' Safe, Sexin' Safe project officer (London), said: "Many homeless young people have had negative experiences of relationships or sexual health yet, as a group, they are very hard to reach. The project offers a relaxed and friendly setting for homeless young people to talk about sexual health, and empowers them to access sexual health services and make positive, informed choices around their own sexual health."
