Scotland: YouthLink lobbies for youth work act

The youth work organisation is to attend next month's annual party conferences to promote its document outlining seven issues that need to be tackled by the Scottish Executive to equip the sector for the future.

Jim Sweeney, YouthLink Scotland chief executive, said: "We realise that the youth work act is a long shot and that it may take a few years to get one. We just want to create a debate."
